March and April 2011

March 2011:

Becca had her very last flute recital.  She took flute for about 6 years.  She had an amzing teacher!

We began our trip to Washington D.C.  We were in the city for five days.  It was an awesome spring break vacation!  This is the National Archives Building.

We stayed with wonderful friends in the D.C. area and had a great spring break trip.

Lydia did a speech about Lillian Gish to her class at our homeschool co-op.

Becca received a promise ring from Mom and Dad
                                                      on her 18th birthday.

Becca was kidnapped by a friend on her birthday.  They ended up having a picnic in our local metropark and then went and watched the movie "Hop" in a theater.

Mom, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Gail, and Aunt Peggy made this great scrapbook for Becca as a suprise.
She was completely suprised too!!!  It contains encouraging notes from friends and family.  Mom spent a lot of time getting this ready before we went to Washington D.C.  It's such a great book that Becca will treasure the rest of her life!

This group of guys above were the band for the Ladies' Banquet that we had at our church.
They played some great music to entertain us all!

We had a very relaxing evening! :)

Easter Sunday

Tomorrow, more to come!!!
