In our family, we have a birthday party with our friends each time we turn 5, 10 and 13. The other years in between we just have a family party. Last year, Lydia turned 10 on 10/10/10. It was a special day and the number "10" was involved many, many times. To celebrate this special day, she had six friends over for a fancy tea party. Each of the girls brought their dolls and they dressed up as a character in a Samantha(American Girl) mystery play, which they did together at the party. It was very fun! Here are just a few pictures from this birthday celebration.

Each of the girls got their own candle on their cupcake to blow out after we sang "Happy Birthday."
Lydia also received some very nice gifts from each of the girls.
